After a drive along the Western Highway, gear up with helmets, headlamps, life jackets and inner tubes at the Caves Branch site. A 45-minute trek through the lush jungle leads you to one of the more scenic cave entrances.
As you float along the gentle river current, you'll be transported through time, surrounded by ancient crystal formations. You can even capture a glimpse of fascinating human artifacts, relics left behind by the ancient Maya. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide shares the captivating geology, history, and cultural significance of the limestone cave system, offering insights into the Mayan civilization that once thrived here.
